Bedtime Stories

Vince has started a new bedtime ritual with the boys. After we have our family bible time, the boys crawl in bed together and he tells them a story. Now, these "stories" are not fairy tales or made up stories. They're just stories about Vince's life. He's told them about the times he's gone backpacking, growing up, vacations, etc. The most recent story, lasting three nights, was about the time Vince and I rented a car from the airport and it was a bright yellow Mustang that we drove out to Colorado with both dogs in the back... now that's exciting stuff (??). But the boys love it and ask every night, "daddy, can you tell us a story tonight?" These are the things that memories are made of... that, and yellow Mustangs.

This sounds like a great time for Vince and the boys...I'd like to be one of the listeners to his stories. There are probably some I've not heard.

And they look so cute in bed together! Pretty soon they'll be requesting their favorite stories...and they'll know all about your guys' lives before they came along, too! Great idea.
