The Evil Superhero Baby of Destruction

Obed the Tornado continues to be a thorn in the sides of Ezra and Asher. It's as though Obed has some evil super-hero complex... anytime he sees any sort of structure the boys have built, his mind clicks to destruction mode and he must knock down the structure with as much force and finality as possible. You name it, Obed wants to destroy it... Lego towers, gone. Block walls, gone. Potato Head families, gone. Train tracks, gone. This is quite difficult for Ezra and Asher. They have taken to playing many games in their room with the door shut so Obed the Tornado cannot enter. There is always a risk, however, when something is built on the floor. Obed waits outside their bedroom door, like a lion ready to pounce on its prey... it's as though he knows the second the door opens, he must attack quickly and completely. It's both hilarious and heartbreaking to watch all at the same time.

Ezra and Asher have learned that Obed's short stature at this phase in life can be used to their advantage these days. The best and safest place to build... up high. Obed cannot reach anything beyond the edge of the table... so these days, train sets, Lego towers, Potato Head families and any other number of structures are built on the dining room table. It's the one "evil-superhero-baby-of-destruction" proof area.
